How to Apply

Since 2003, more than 150 organizations have applied for the Award, leading to 86 recipients and finalists, all members of our Honor Roll. We are pleased that your organization has decided to apply this year.

New in 2023 we have implemented a new feature in the ETHIE application process … the EthicsPoll, which is a diagnostic assessment designed to measure an organization’s ethical culture and provide leadership with a comprehensive summary report of aggregated data from employees at all levels. Through the EthicsPoll, every employee at your organization will be asked to take 20 minutes to respond to this online assessment.

While the process may seem a bit daunting at first, we believe it has tremendous value. Our goal is that applicants use the results of the EthicsPoll assessment tool to improve their ethics programs and organizational culture.

After completion of the EthicsPoll assessment, an Elevate Rochester team member will reach out to schedule an on-site visit. They will also ask that applicants include any applicable supporting documentation (e.g., code of ethics, mission statement, newsletter, policy statements, etc.) that might assist the judges in reviewing your application.

The Elevate Rochester Board and the Awards Committee wish you the best of luck in what we hope will be an exciting and illuminating process!
