Don’t Try to Be the “Fun Boss”
During the Rochester Area Business Ethics Foundation’s January meeting, the Board of Directors discussed an article from the Harvard Business Review entitled, Don’t Try to Be the “Fun Boss” — and Other Lessons in Ethical Leadership. When are off-color jokes or stories of weekend antics acceptable? At what point do they cross the line? Don’t let the culture define you. Be vigilant, stay true to your core values and encourage the right behaviors.
